This year the exhibition was held in the College rather than in a pop up shop in Town. It was much smaller than previously, and no items were for sale. College is situated away from Banbury central, so it is unlikely there will be any footfall from the general public. However, the emphasis on the finish was still maintained, and much scrubbing, cleaning, scraping and painting was done to achieve it. Everyone pitched in although Steve had to do most of it! Above is the gallery which was one of two rooms where our pieces were exhibited.

One of my two pieces, called The Shape of Water, made out of porcelain, with a stand designed especially for it. I have talked in a previous post about how it came about and the ideas behind it.

Some people admiring Kitty Fynn’s piece. The private view went well and there were quite a few family and friends there.
My second piece named Waterfall. Made out of paper from the photographic studio and about 12ft high, I have spoken in a previous blog about the ideas behind it.

Joanne Woodward’s exhibit, photograms of Keys, enlarged and put on white board.
